Powders

High doses and endless formulation freedom — the format of choice when the daily dose is simply too large for a capsule or a tablet.

Why the powder

When the dose is bigger than the format

Powders are the format of choice for high daily doses that would be impractical in capsules or tablets. They open up virtually endless possibilities of flavour, texture and nutrient combination — for products that are as effective as they are enjoyable to take.

Collagen, protein, creatine, magnesium, fibre and greens blends all belong here: at several grams a day, no capsule count would be acceptable to a consumer. Powder also removes the excipient constraints of compression, leaving more room for the active itself.

Our R&D team brings deep expertise in developing this demanding format — homogeneity, flowability, solubility and taste masking are where powder projects are won or lost — and our modern production tool guarantees total homogeneity and impeccable quality, batch after batch.

Options

Printed carton, dosing spoon, multi-layer label and desiccant. The multi-layer label is particularly useful for export, where several languages of mandatory information must fit on one pack.

Capacity

10 million powder units per month, with a minimum order quantity that starts at 2 000 units for jars and doypacks — the lowest entry point of all four galenic forms.

Industrial tool

Pharmaceutical-grade equipment

Automatic sachet lines

Unit-dose sachets from 45 × 35 mm to 100 × 100 mm, filled and sealed on a controlled line with in-process weight checks.

Jar and doypack filling

From 75 g to 1.5 kg, with induction sealing, spoon insertion and desiccant where the formula requires it.

Homogeneity control

Particle size, loss on drying and density are checked in our laboratories to guarantee a homogeneous blend across the whole batch.

Frequently asked questions

What powder formats can Bewell Nutraceutique produce?
Three formats: unit-dose sachets from 45 × 35 mm to 100 × 100 mm holding 1 g to 10 g, jars holding 150 g to 1 kg, and doypacks holding 75 g to 1.5 kg. Materials include paper/PE/alu/PE and PE/alu for sachets, HDPE, LDPE and PET for jars, and PET/alu/PE or PE/EVOH-PE for doypacks.
What is the minimum order quantity for powders?
50 000 units for unit-dose sachets, and 2 000 units for jars and doypacks. This makes powder the most accessible format for a brand launching a first product or testing a new market.
Can you add a dosing spoon or a desiccant?
Yes. Printed cartons, dosing spoons, multi-layer labels and desiccants are all available options. Desiccants are recommended for hygroscopic formulas such as high-magnesium or high-vitamin-C blends.
How do you guarantee that the blend is homogeneous?
Homogeneity is controlled through the blending process itself and verified in our two internal laboratories, with particle size, density and loss-on-drying testing on each batch. For powders, this is the single most important quality parameter: an inhomogeneous blend means an inconsistent dose.
