What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
Under OEM, Bewell Nutraceutique manufactures your own formula to your specifications — you own the recipe. Under ODM, our R&D team develops the product for you, from the concept through to a compliant, industrially feasible and market-ready formula. OEM is faster when your formula is already validated; ODM is the route when you have a market idea but no formulation.
How long does an ODM project take?
Typically six to nine months from brief to delivery, covering formulation, bench trials, stability studies and regulatory validation. A straightforward OEM project on an existing formula usually runs three to four months. The variables are the complexity of the formula, the availability of the raw materials and the requirements of the target market.
Where do your raw materials come from?
From more than 300 suppliers around the world. Our policy is to source directly from manufacturers rather than through intermediaries, which secures both quality and availability, and keeps traceability short. An AI-assisted system helps our three buyers compare specifications, origins and availability.
Can you help with health claims and regulatory compliance?
Yes. Health claims, product declaration, label compliance and ongoing monitoring are part of the all-in-one service, with regulatory watch carried out in partnership with Pharmanager Development. For export, we also handle export document management and customs paperwork.
